Adult Junk Sculpture Class continues
The Junk Sculpture Class has been so popular and the students have enjoyed themselves so much, the class has been held over for an additional month. The cost remains the same $50 (with a 20% discount for CAC members). Many projects are still in the works and this will give students a chance to complete them and others to join in on the fun! Our friend Alex will visit again in February to weld, so call and make your reservation today for Junk Sculpture. Photos of the class projects are on this website and on our Facebook page.

There's no better time to start painting than right now!
The Creative Arts Center will once again offer a summer painting class with local artist Chris Cravens, beginning Thursday, July 5 at 10 am. The two-hour class will meet each Thursday morning through the month of July and the cost is $120. Chris paints in numerous media and is a skilled sculptor, photographer and graphic artist as well. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art. Use your own supplies or the CAC's. Bring a friend and spend a morning in an air-conditioned studio learning how to paint or improving the skills you already have.
