CREATIVE ARTS CENTER GLASS EXHIBIT OPENING RECEPTION JUNE 8 FROM 1 TO 3 PM
Rules and Regulations
This exhibit is open to all artists and each artist may submit up to 3 pieces of original artwork in glass. Creative Arts Center members may enter the exhibit at no charge. All non-members are $15 per person for up to 3 pieces of art. Payment must accompany entry. Gallery commission on any work sold is 20%; checks are disbursed at the end of each month. Artwork must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibit (June 8 through July 9). We will only accept work between May 29 and June 5. DISPLAY: We prefer that a display system accompany your work. We have limited window space available and will hang stained glass on the walls unless other arrangements have been made. Special lighting is the responsibility of the artist. Our gallery walls are white with heavy texture; all hanging pieces should be wired and ready for hanging. If you have any questions about how your work will be displayed, please call us. We want to accommodate as many artists as we can but displaying stained glass appropriately can be challenging. Free-standing pieces must be safely and easily transportable by one person. Note: blown glass artists – we have numerous pedestals and large stands for display. FINE PRINT: We reserve the right to reject any art work that we feel is inappropriate for family viewing or cannot be adequately and safely accommodated by our space. Utmost care will be taken in handling the artwork; however, the Creative Arts Center, its employees and staff will not be held responsible for damage or loss. >>click here for entry form
